Disposable personal income increased $125.9 billion, or 0.5%. Personal consumption expenditures increased $36.3 billion, or 0.2%.

Personal outlays increased $36.6 billion in July.

Personal saving was $712.0 billion in July, and the personal saving rate was 3.0%.

BEA defines disposable personal income as personal income less personal current taxes. Personal outlays include personal consumption expenditures, personal interest payments and personal current transfer payments. The personal saving rate is personal saving as a percentage of disposable personal income.
